Namma & Containers LLC is made of architects, coming from various backgrounds, and bringing together different professional competences (conceptual, creative and technical). They are working constantly at all stages of the various projects with other experts: engineers, technicians, artisans, salespersons, and legal experts who complete this teamwork of contractors.


Claude YACOUB
Founder & Director

Born in Martinique, France, lived most of his life in Fort-de-France and Paris, as well as in Damas. Lives in Houston since 2020.
Architect, graduated from the École Spéciale d’Architecture (ESA), Paris (1989). He also holds a Master in sustainable development from the same architecture school ESA (2008) and a Ph.D. in Information Science and Communication from Université Paris 8 (2011).
Strong with a 30-year experience as an independent architect in France, he has completed many projects in the fields of architecture, urbanism, design, and artistic structures.
Simultaneously, he has been teaching for 25 years: architecture, urbanism, design, and fine arts (Paris, Fort-de-France, Damas and Montréal).
As an associate researcher at the Citu-Paragraphe laboratory, Université Paris 8, he has published numerous scientific papers (personal articles and co-directed publications) and participated in multiple international conferences.
Moreover, he is strongly involved in the non-profit arena with the creation of a popular university, which has worked to train architects and engineers on the topics of rebuilding after natural disasters and war conflicts.

Salah HREEB
Design Manager

Born in Damascus, Syria. He lives in Damascus.
Architect and artist.
After studying at the Institute of Engineering (specializing in Architectural Drawing), he graduated (valedictorian) from the Department of Architecture, in Damascus, Syria (2010).
He has worked since 2008 in a major architectural firm in Damascus as an architect designer.
He also participated in several international architectural competitions and won awards for competitions such as in Tokyo for “Vertical Cemetery – Death in the City” – finalist list – and in Syria “Sham spiritual Oasis” – honorable mention award.
As an artist, he participated in many solo and collective exhibitions (Beirut, Damascus, and Istanbul). He also participated in several workshops in various countries till now (Lebanon, Turkey, England, and Syria).


Gaëlle de LA BOURDONNAYE
Executive Assistant

Born in France. She spent her early adulthood in the Middle East (Doha & Dubai) before moving to Brazil (Sao Paulo).
She now resides in Texas (Houston) after living in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) and Georgia (Atlanta).
She is bringing her international expertise to the Executive Assistant role. Gaelle is also extremely involved in a nonprofit organization called “Houston Expat Pro” which is dedicated to helping women be successful in their businesses.


Annick A. BEGNANA
Marketing Assistant

Born in Ivory Coast, lived most of her life in France and in the US, currently residing in Houston (2019). 
A financial analyst, she graduated from ISG Business school in Paris and New York (Master’s) and holds a Bachelor’s in translations and business management.
She has worked with several financial institutions as project manager for 15 years, the last being Euroclear in Paris, and is now an independent translator. 


Barbara RODRIGUEZ
Project Manager

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, lived most of her life in San Cristobal, Venezuela. Lived in Arlon, Belgium (2008). Resides in Houston since 2015.
Architect, she graduated from Universidad Nacional Experimental del Tachira (UNET), Tachira, Venezuela (2017). She also holds a Certificate in Construction Industry from HCC (2017).
Since 2015, she has been working in residential design and construction with a number of companies and simultaneously as an independent Architect Designer.
Her degree thesis was titled “Design of a Proposal for Flooding-Resistant Single-Family House in the Galveston Island, Texas, USA”, published, awarded an honorific mention by UNET and appeared in the EV Houston newspaper.
